I was born in Eger in 1965. I live and work in Hatvan. Throughout my studies under Gyula Paksi in Hatvan I was deeply influenced by academism and later by the kinetic abstraction of my sculptor - teacher Lajos Dargay. The latter period imbued with the master's genuineness in this Eger - Paris of ours, meant my first experiences of 20th century constructivism. In Debrecen I continued my studies under the painter- artist Sándor Makoldy, a great expert and researcher of the organic system of symbolic signs, of folk art, a sign - culture filled with particular colour energies. It was his immense intellectual and physical knowledge that inclined me to start a teacher - artist career. My works may show the influence of my masters. Their knowledge and set of requirements has been determinant. My ambition is a 20th century adaptation of the pure form - language of prehistoric and popular abstraction. In my works I am aiming at preserving an authentic interpretation of this system of signs that has been bearing universal information. Since 1989 I have been teaching visual culture and history of art at the Zoltán Kodály Elementary and High School and also at the Cultural Centre in Hatvan. Since 1993 I have been a member of the Hungarian Society of Free Artists and Industrial Designers and also a member of the group called 'Hatvani Műhely' since 1994. I regularly organise and arrange exhibitions for my students and colleagues. In 1996 the 'Hatvany Lajos Museum' purchased my 'Sign' for its collection of modern art.
